Husband & Wife team Dean & Charlotte Spearing the founding members of the Eastern Group, have been at the helm for over 15 years. Picking up Entrepreneur & Raw Image Toni&Guy Awards, Finalist of the converted L'Oreal Colour Trophy 5 years in a row, finalist in the Sapphires Business Awards, & regional finalist of the British Hairdressing Awards Eastern category.
Charlotte Spearing was one of Toni Mascolo's protégés having worked with the CEO from the age of 15, joining in 1992, straight from school. Charlotte learned every level of the business working her way up from work experience to Assistant Manager of the newly opened Regent Street Salon. Charlotte then went on to become the franchisee of Toni&Guy Colchester.
Having gained 20+ years experience, Charlotte has been able to grow the brand within the region above and beyond Toni's expectations. With the Toni&Guy Eastern Group brand stretching from as far as Ipswich, Sudbury, Colchester in the north of the region, to as far as South Woodford in the south, also covering Loughton and Romford.
Dean joined the multi award-winning brand in 1997 under the Fast Track Scholarship Training Programme, which he excelled at, finishing the usual 3 year course in under a year. From there he joined the Marylebone team and then the exclusive Covent Garden Salon, before joining Charlotte in Colchester.
Dean's career soon took momentum following a path in the highly regarded Toni&Guy Education System, and propelled him to the heights of teaching at our distinguished Toni&Guy London Academy where he was involved in all aspects of teaching from beginners, existing staff and the prestigious creative Cut & Colour course. Having spent 10 years at the Academy, working on numerous shows at London Fashion Week and industry seminars such as Salon International. Dean now dedicates his time to staff education throughout the Toni&Guy Eastern Group, which he runs continually though out the year.
